Q CELLS are pioneers in the renewable energy sector providing affordable and smart energy solutions through technology and innovation. In 2019 they engaged our team to craft and deliver a world-class, innovative B2B showcase at All-Energy Australia 2019. Embracing the challenge, we conceptualized, developed and deployed the SmARt Choice Experience.
Within the venue space we constructed a contemporary, architectural installation with integrated state of the art technology. The design included a 14-metre-wide, double-sided LED canvas for evolving motion graphics and ambient content that captured the eye of the conference attendees. They then experienced bespoke product displays, presentation areas, hospitality and networking zones, and were drawn in further with the Q CELLS SmARt App that connected and engaged the audience at various key touchpoints via augmented reality.
This unique experience showcased Q CELLS cutting-edge sustainable energy solutions and allowed visitors to choose ‘their own adventure’. They explored the newly refreshed brand and its hero products, and to extend the experience further they could unlock curated content which could then be shared via social channels.
Using AR as a platform we successfully enabled and measured our ability to engage the Q CELLS audience by changing the way they interacted with the real-time physical environment and digital technology.
Did it work? We have been briefed on a phase two development to amplify the experience to ‘any time and any place’ for rollout in a number of regions across the globe.
